The legal stipulations require comprehensive transparency about the processing of personal data. Data subjects are only sufficiently informed about the meaning, purpose and scope of the processing if the processing is comprehensible for them. 2.1 From the GDPR

2.2 Cookies

Cookies are small pieces of information that are stored on or read on your device from a website. The purpose of this is to be able to use this information again at a later point in time. They contain combinations of letters and numbers in order, for example, to recognize the user and his / her settings when reconnecting to the cookie-setting website, to enable the user to remain logged in to a guest account or to statistically analyze certain usage behavior.

3. General information on data processing

We only process personal data insofar as this is legally permissible. A transfer of personal data only takes place in the cases described below (see 4. below).  

The personal data will be deleted or protected by technical and organizational measures (e.g. pseudonymization, encryption) as soon as the purpose of the processing no longer applies. This also takes place when a prescribed storage period expires, unless there is a need for further storage of the personal data for the conclusion or fulfillment of a contract.

These personal data are processed for the purpose of functionality and optimization of the website, as well as to ensure the security of our information technology systems. This is also in our legitimate interest, which is why such processing is permissible pursuant to Art. 6 para.(1)f GDPR.

The personal data are stored for a maximum of four weeks. We do not merge this data with other data sources. Data will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for the operation of our website. For this purpose, the personal data are transferred to the website agency and host. A transfer to a third country or to an international organization is not intended.

4.2 Website analysis services: Google Analytics

When you visit our website, the web analysis service Google Analytics is loaded for statistical analysis of the use of the website. This service is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”). Google Analytics uses cookies, which enable the use of this website to be analyzed. Through use of the website, cookies generate information that is transmitted to Google and stored there. By using the “anonymizeIp ()” extension, we ensure that Google Analytics only transmits a shortened version of your IP address to Google. You can prohibit the use of cookies that are stored on your terminal device and enable your use of the website to be an analyzed.

Google Analytics is used for the purpose of economic optimization and needs-based design of our website. This constitutes a legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. (1)(f) of the GDPR. We have entered into a contract with Google for the outsourcing of our data processing and have fully implemented the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities when using Google Analytics. 

Your IP address will be collected by us for truncation and thereafter transmitted to Google. You are not obliged to provide these personal data; our website can be used without providing them. 4.3 Functions: Contact form / contact via email

If you use the contact form on our website or send us an email, we will process the personal data you provide there. This information is transmitted by your browser or email client and stored in our information technology systems. The processing of these personal data is necessary in order to answer your request. In addition, your IP address and the date and time of the contact request are saved.

This data processing serves to answer your request and the purpose of preventing misuse of the contact form and ensuring the security of our information technology systems. This processing is lawful because answering your request and protecting our information technology systems constitute legitimate interests within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1(f) GDPR.

Such personal data will be stored for as long as is necessary to answer your request. If your request leads to the subsequent conclusion of a contract, it will be stored as long as this is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures or to fulfill the contract, after which the personal data will be routinely deleted. We do not merge this data with other data sources. Data will not be passed on to third parties. A transfer to a third country or to an international organization is not intended. You are not obliged to provide these personal data, but you cannot use the contact form or send an email without providing them.

4.4 Funktionen: Abonnement eines Newsletters

Sie können auf unserer Website einen Newsletter von uns abonnieren, der Sie nach Ihrem Wunsch entweder über Events und Veranstaltungen oder zum Thema Hotel und Business oder zu beiden Themenbereichen zusammen informiert. Wenn Sie dies tun, werden die von Ihnen bei der Anmeldung angegebenen personenbezogenen Daten durch Ihren Browser an uns übermittelt und in unseren informationstechnischen Systemen gespeichert. Gespeichert werden außerdem Ihre IP-Adresse und Zeitpunkt der Anmeldung. 

Die Verarbeitung der von Ihnen eingegebenen personenbezogenen Daten dient der persönlichen Gestaltung und dem Versand des Newsletters. Diese Verarbeitung ist rechtmäßig, weil Sie uns ihre Einwilligung gemäß Art. 6 Abs. 1 Buchst. a DS-GVO erteilt haben. Die Speicherung von IP-Adresse und Zeitpunkt der Anmeldung dient dem Nachweis Ihrer Einwilligung, wozu wir gemäß Art. 6 Abs. 1 Buchst. c DS-GVO verpflichtet sind.

Such processing is lawful because you have given us your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1(a) GDPR. The storage of the IP address and the time of registration serves as proof of your consent, which we are obliged to obtain pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 c) GDPR.

The personal data you enter will be stored until we cancel your newsletter subscription. We do not merge this data with other data sources. Data will not be passed on to third parties. A transfer to a third country or to an international organization is not intended. You are not obliged to provide these personal data, but you cannot subscribe to our newsletter without providing them.

4.6 Booking of hotel rooms or arrangements / cancellation

You can book a hotel room or an arrangement via our website or cancel a booking that has already been made. If you do so, the personal data you provided when booking will be transmitted to us by your browser and stored in our information technology systems. Your IP address and time of registration will also be saved.  

The processing of the personal data you have entered serves the purpose of preparing and implementing the hotel stay or the arrangement that you have booked. Such processing is lawful because it is required in order to fulfill the contract in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1(b) GDPR. The storage of IP address and time of registration serves the purpose of ensuring the security of our information technology systems. This is also in our legitimate interest, which is why such processing is permissible pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1(f) GDPR.

The personal data you provide will be stored until after the booking has been made. We do not merge this data with other data sources. Data will only be passed on if this is necessary to implement the hotel stay or the arrangement (e.g. to cooperation partners for excursions). A transfer to a third country or to an international organization is not intended. You are not obliged to provide these personal data, but registration for seminars is not possible without them.

5. Your rights

As a data subject, you have the right to information in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR, the right to correction in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, the right to deletion in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR), and the right to restriction of its processing in accordance with (Art. 18 GDPR and the right to data portability according to Art. 20 GDPR). The restrictions in Sections 34 and 35 BDSG apply to the right to information and the right to cancellation. In addition, there is a right to file a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority  (Art. 77 GDPR in conjunction with Section 19 BDSG).

6. Automated decision-making, in individual cases including profiling

Automated decisions in individual cases including profiling are not made.

7. Notification obligations of the person responsible

We will notify all recipients to whom your personal data have been disclosed of any correction or deletion of your personal data or any restriction on processing pursuant to Art. 16, Art. 17 para. 1 and Art. 18 GDPR, unless such notification is impossible or involves a disproportionate effort.

We will inform you of the recipients if you so request.

8. Right to object

You have the right, for reasons arising from your specific situation, to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you which is carried out in accordance with Art. 6 para. (1)(e) or (f) of the GDPR. If personal data are processed in order to operate direct mail, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for the purpose of such advertising. 9. Right of withdrawal of consent to the processing of personal data

Pursuant to Art. 7 para. 3 se. 4 GDPR you have the right to revoke your consent at any time. The legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation is not thereby affected. This means that the revocation only applies to any processing planned after the revocation. Revocation is possible without a specific form by post or e-mail. If you object, we will no longer process your personal data, unless another (legal) basis allows this. However, if a revocation is made and no other grounds for authorization exist, then in accordance with Art. 17 para. 2(b) GDPR, the personal data will be deleted immediately at your request.
